Copenhagen Fashion

Copenhagen Fashion

You probably noticed that Scandinavian design constantly remains at the cutting-edge of fashion and design, innovating and creating new trends a year or two before the rest of the world. And no, we are not talking about the 1950’s furniture style!

Since we opened Canon Blanc back in 2012, the Danish accessories brand Becksondergaard has been a huge success with their colourful scarves and wallets. So we decided to broaden our northern horizon to shoes and fashion!

This season, we are proud to welcome three new brands straight out of Copenhagen : the showstopper fashion pieces of Stine Goya, the fun and affordable Emma Go shoes, and Project AJ117’s line of luxury basics. These designers’ collections are easy to mix and match in order to create the perfect work or party outfit. And in so doing, one starts to grasp a few concepts that make Scandinavian design stand apart: Bright patterns, bold colour combinations, attention to details, and a loose-but-structured style that makes the clothes come alive on you.

Project AJ117

Project AJ117

Born from a creatives meeting in Copenhagen in 2011, Project AJ117 aims to create a line of luxury, everyday basics, that all women would love to have in their wardrobe.

Emphasizing on quality, their production is exclusively made in Europe, where they found the best technicians and workmanship for the unique look they wanted: hand-dyed, comfortable fabrics with luxurious finishings.

Simply put, you can jump into their styles every morning and feel instantly sexy and practical at the same time !

Stine Goya

Stine Goya

A former model, Stine Goya graduated from St Martins school of design in 2005, and launched her eponym brand the following year in Copenhagen, Denmark. She has since then deeply influenced the direction of Scandinavian fashion design.

With a feminine colour palette and unique, artful prints cut in elegant silhouettes, Stine Goya’s collections encourage women to express their individuality.

Each collection stems from a depth of meaning and a visual portrayal of an emotion, inspired by a wide spectrum of contemporary and classical sources that capture the essence of the distinct Stine Goya universe.

Canon Blanc is proud to have been chosen as one of the key stores which carry Stine Goya’s exclusive collections. Come and discover her vibrant personality!

Emma go

Emma Go

Since their debut in 2009, Emma Go has been capturing the hearts and feet of fashionistas worldwide ! Their shoes are handcrafted in their own factory in Spain, using traditional craftsmanship techniques and the best leathers from local suppliers. Globetrotters, the designers behind Emma Go get their inspiration from their travels, the people they meet and the music they discover… all blended in to extract the essence of the perfect pair of shoes!

Becksondergaard

Becksondergaard

A Canon Blanc favorite, Becksondergaard has been colouring the world with their uplifting scarves and accessories since 2003. Now a multi-million dollar brand in Europe, we are still one of the few stores selected in Canada as official Becksondergaard retailers ! This season, we love their tie-dye leather totes, laser-cut handbags, and graphic wool scarves. Lis Beck and Anna Sondergaard are two creative geniuses, so we never get the same design twice. If you see a scarf you like, don’t wait too long or it will be too late ! The good news though, in their ever-changing collections, is that your only problem will be to choose which design you prefer…
