It all began in 1983 when two Danes – Annemette Markvad and Thomas Adamsen – translated their unique empathy and innovative energy into designing jewellery, sold mainly at festivals. With a great love of music and people, they created jewellery that reflected their deeply held values of spontaneity, intimacy and authenticity. Pilgrim jewellery was, and remains, truly of the moment.
“Thomas and I were not business people, and we began Pilgrim very much from the heart. From the beginning, we had two key missions. The other was to build a workplace where every employee enjoyed coming to work and where respect, responsibility and trust were cherished values put into practice each day.” – Annemette Markvad, Founder
These massive Orchid sunglasses will transform you into a chic cross between a soccer mom and Britney Spears at her peak. We love the curvy rectangular shape that will successfully cover every millimetre of eye-related skin and the soft shade that will complement anything you're wearing, but be a lot less boring than black.
What do you get if you mix John Lennon and the noughties? These Lucy sunglasses, that's what. They're shaped like a rounder aviator in ceramic, a dependable style with a nod at recent trends with its double nose bridge. The black-and-tortoiseshell colouring gives you the best of both worlds.
These Lila sunglasses make you look like you're on the colourful eyewear bandwagon while staying cool and Scandinavian, which is also important. They're round and purple-y with a very cool grey tortoiseshell frame, but also simply shaped – and the colours feel toned down. Stay in your comfort zone whilst looking a little experimental.
